Livin' In Paradise

Here is another great picture of the Paradise Resort. We will be packing in 70 college students into this sweet inn. It is so cool to see how God uses such a run down place for the most amazing relationships and close-knit family atmosphere that many of us will experience this side of heaven. Pray for us as we prepare the area and get it ready for the students to arrive on Saturday.

The Paradise Resort

We are here in Virginia Beach now after a long drive and some fun times on the road. We are staying in the Paradise Resort Inn, which so elequently said by our director's wife, is neither paradise nor a resort. We are thankful to be here and grateful for our staff team, they are so much fun. Be praying for us as we develop contacts in the area to try to break ground on starting a Student Venture movement here in Virginia Beach. We met some students today at church and we are excited to see what God will do with those relationships. 

Ashley Is Pregnant

Ashley is pregnant. It is so incredible! We have been so blessed in our lives, and this will be an awesome new adventure into parenthood. We are 8 weeks along now and Ashley has done really well so far. She hasn't gotten very sick at all throughout the first trimester which is sweet. We hope she will have enough energy to work the very demanding and intense summer project. She will definitely have to be wise in the use of her energy. Pray for the health of our baby and Ashley's health as they continue to grow together.

Virginia Beach

Take the trip with us as we go to Virginia Beach Summer Project. We are so pumped to see God use us to impact college students and disciple them for a lifelong ministry. It will be incredible to see how many people may come to know Christ this summer and the vast numbers of people who will be eternally impacted through our ministry there. Another prayer is that students may come on staff as a result of their summer with us and through their work with Student Venture.
